Finally tried that mobile fuel service, here's my honest take

I've been seeing ads for those on-demand fuel delivery apps all over social media for months and honestly I always thought it was kind of a gimmick for lazy people, like seriously how hard is it to just stop at a petrol station. But last week I was rushing to a client meeting in JLT and my low fuel warning came on with like 20 kms range left and no way I was gonna make it there and back without running dry. So I bit the bullet and ordered through one of the apps just to see what the fuss was about. Dude showed up in about 25 minutes which was faster than I expected, filled me up right there in the parking lot and I was on my way. The convenience factor is honestly hard to argue with, especially if you're in a bind or driving a fleet vehicle. The markup wasn't even that bad compared to station prices, maybe a few extra dirhams but totally worth it for the time saved. Having access to 24/7 emergency fuel delivery in Dubai is actually a game changer for someone like me who's always on the road and terrible at planning fuel stops. I'm curious though if anyone else has used these services and had a good or bad experience, because I feel like there might be some sketchy operators out there that could mess with your engine or overcharge you. Definitely gonna keep the app on my phone for emergencies from now on though, learned my lesson about procrastinating on fuel.
