I disagree. A well produced track (song) can be done in a few hours, days, weeks, months or years. All it takes is the knowledge, creativity and work flow to do so.

I get what you're saying and it's somewhat true, but the songs/tracks that last a long time and aren't "disposable" are usually the ones that took a lot of time in the making and perfecting.

Daft Punk I think is a good example. Discovery is an album that is a classic that took about 3 years to make start to finish. Same with Homework. Then they decided: "We were definitely seduced at the time by the idea of doing the opposite of Discovery. A stone that's unworked." So they made the Human After All album in a month and a half.

It's by no means bad (kinda interestingly depressing album - not meant to be "happy"), but it wasn't a lasting record. Their new Random Access Memories album that's coming out has apparently been in the works for 3+ years (started before the Tron Legacy score) and it's already sounding like it could be another classic. They are caring a lot more about the sounds, live instrumentation, presentation, song structure, etc etc to fit their vision.

No.

Any audio track that deserves the title of being a complete production needs to go through mastering. I would like to listen to a production and audio engineers track that did this in a couple of hours.
YEP, and usually mastering works best when it's done by a stranger .
