Um, "below average" for Florida is about 50-60 degrees this time of year. The average January temperature here is only 30 degrees!

They were wrong about Texas, especially D/FW. Our normal Temperature is in the 40s and it has been nothing but 70s and 80s until today

This picture is the perfect description of winter in this part of the country...

it gets cold in here in florida too

we get very windy so it drops the temp even more if you lived in florida for a long time you would understand

I lived in Florida for quite a while, and even then, the occasional 50s and 40s never bothered me much. Besides, as long as you dress correctly for the weather, you should be just fine.

On the other hand, having lived in Florida and having experienced their summers, it makes me laugh when people up here complain that 75 degrees is "too hot", and I'm thinking "you have no idea what heat is".

well, i got a high of zero on Sunday so I'll take insane heat anyday.

its going to be in the 90's tomorrow, not really pleasant
