Help Needed From Apple Users

My brother just lost his iPod touch and unfortunately we did not have icloud on it so the tracker does not work. Does anyone know an alternative solution that will allow us to track it?

With out some sort of third party tracking app installed on it I don't think it's possible to track it.

Since the touches don't have Cellular on them, any tracking would only work when the device is connected to WiFI.

I would say your best bet is to check all the places it might be lost, if you don't find it write it off and buy a new one.

Yeah the fact that it's an iPod touch makes it more difficult to find. Considering it has to be on wifi to get any sort of indication.

^ Yea if the Find my iPod feature was not on, you won't be able to ding it. And the fact it is an iPod makes it worse.
I'd suggest googling around or calling Apple to see if they have any backdoors. Pretty sure they don't but worth a try.
