omg there is emo and scene...emo is an emotion and scene is the clothing or style of dress...and there is a difference between thenm and hardcore...most people assume that if you dress hardcore or scene, then you are emo

emo has become a pouserization of hardcore.

Scene is just a new word to try and take away from the negative stereotypes of emos.

Actually no its not. Scene is defined as a mixture between emo and prep. Unlike emos these "scene" people enjoy bright colors and clothing, along with bright makeup and very odd hairstyles and colors. Most scene people are never depressed and dont cut or anything, but they are into the same music as emo people. At least this is what i have found out seeing as half of the people in my school are "scene"
