It took over 20 times to AHG the first drop correctly, and even now, I am still tweaking it.

Tools used: H:SAK, AHG, Purg

5 pics (as of 7/23/07) are up.

I am doing the lift supports about 15 ties apart from each other, resulting in about 6-7 total supports on the lift segs. Should it be less, because EGF (which it is inspired by) has relatively the same amount.

Any testers are appreciated, but those who have already rode EGF are more appreciated. I just need to know how to properly shape the drop.

I heard someone that said that EGF is about 9(point something) mph, and mine is 11km/h (or 6.83654 mph). Do you think this is relatively correct, or even realistic?

If you were trying to do an EGF style drop, you have failed.

Well, the drop is not really inspired by EGF, the direction and starting layout is.

The back is not always where the most G's are!
X2 ??? Intimidator 305 ??? Millennium Force ??? Iron Rattler ??? El Toro ??? Fury 325 ??? Maverick ??? Skyrush ??? Twisted Timbers ??? Voyage

Yes, but I rode in the front and the back, and the back gets the most (and the front ties for the negative gs)

What do you guys think is the proper amount of spacing between supports (particularly lift ones)? 15 ties, or more?

Just do what looks correct with your track. If they look too close, they probably are. If it looks like a pigeon landing on your track could knock it over, it probably needs closer supports spacing.

Well, my computer hardrive crashed, and I lost all trackwork, so this project is done and abandoned.

---------------------------------------

Not exactly. Luckily I saved the finished AHG elements and just put them together, the station, brakes, and turnaround back together and it is good as new.

^ Your just gonna give up on this project. Why don't you rebuild, perfecting the drop, etc. but maybe going with something a little more unique this time ;)

the 'A' support is very odd, and take a look at Expedition GeForce (Holiday Park) and Goliath (Walibi World), IMO those are the best examples

Don't worry, I got rid of it. The supports are inspired by EGF.
