What, in your opinion, is the best part of the Kingda Ka ?

I love launches, especially hydraulic launches. And since Kingda Ka will be the fastest accelerating Intamin rocket to date, then I have to choose the launch. All parts of this ride should be excellent though.

its not 270deg that twist, I think its actually closer to 280 because the airtime hill is at an angle to the launch. Either that or its a 100deg twist when you are going upwards, but I'm just being Pernickety to be fair [lol].

My favourite part would probably be the launch, having ridden Rita, all that made me say to my self was "I FRIGGING want to ride Kingda Ka!" [lol] purely for the launch. Because now I know what 0-62 in 2.8 seconds feels like, I just absolutely cannot imagine what 0-128 in 3.5 seconds would be like. I would imagine it would just eclipse the rest of the ride.

Is that true? I have seen a picture of a fashion model guy person man thing or whatever "Fabio" is, on Apollo's chariot after being hit in the face by a bird, he certainly wasn't dead, but there was a bit of blood.

You have blueprints? Everyone thinks thats the case with Dragster too, that the 2 tracks (launch and brakes) actually angle in to each other, but its just the train track issue. Being they are so huge and you never get a direct top down (without any FOV) itll always appear that way.

Theres no reason for them to lie really. I recreated Dragster and even though its slightly off width wise, the tracks are STILL parallel. Its easy to tell from the way its themed inside.

They are parallel, unless youve got some prints I didnt know existed ;)

I thought they were parallel too, until I saw this pic. Looks like that tophat turns about 182 degrees.

and if you think, you'll figure out soon enough that the tophat is wider than the last turn into the station, also a good pic is this

Yea, THAT is definatly obvious. Thats definatly quite a bit angled than Dragster is.

I stand corrected on that one, dont need blueprints with that. Thats really severe in terms of the angle. I wish I had the entire helicopter ride that was shot in CP's video of Dragster in testing, would make that more concrete but the only shots you get are to the side, completely useless.

Ive seen several reports, bird, duck, goose.

I doubt it was a goose...really, geese are HUGE. I suspect at the speeds they were going a goose would have caused some neck damage. I would lean much further towards just a bird, even a duck is a large object to hit.

Reguardless, never died. Just hilariousness.
