Lake Compounce: Phobia - New For 2016

Two phobias stated on the wooden wall. They mean... the arrival of Gerstlauer's compact mouse! The "Clown" would come along as a wacky decoration for the ride's theme. Something like "Laff Trakk"?

Just my too random guess, though.

The Fear of Speed... reminds me of a tagline "Fly at the speed of Fear". Then B&M Flyer is coming at that park?

"Clue #5 is Hypsiphobia, the fear of heights. We're thinking a clown holding a jar of spiders on the edge of a building...Too much?"

At this point, I'm thinking it's going to be some sort of thrill ride, maybe a roller coaster, but it's hard to pinpoint exactly what it'll be based on the clues they've given.

The fear of "speed" and "heights" seems like a coaster to me. The other clues distort that though

This does not seem plausible as SFNE is about an hour away and they have the world's tallest.

Low speed means you can implement different "areas" for various phobias within the same ride whilst the vertical drop can provide height and speed.

the windseeker model cant be that bad

They are not the worst, but definitely boring and not a smart investment (atleast in my opinion).

Reasons for this being is that the capacity is terrible, and even worse is that your only high up for merely 10 seconds, before descending back down. It's not forceful and more or less an extreme view. Definitely something I hope LC DOES NOT get.

On other words, I really hope it's a coaster, I'd be upset if they got another flatride; - knowing they already have enough, and only 3 coasters.

Starflyers face this exact same problem, but Windseekers definitely have more capacity as they have many more seats. Starflyers do have the chains as suspension, though so that makes them even more fun.

a dark ride coaster?

^Seems like it at this point. Maybe it will just have an indoor portion?

I already have a "guessing" phobia. LC only knows.

I have a feeling this is going to be super super lame.
