Me gots a resolution problem

Well while trying to open the sim from the editor, it says:


Error while setting Display Mode

Can't switch to 800x600x82, please set mode manually!



Does anyone know how to fix this? It has happened a few times.

Try opening the Sim just on it's own, and then adjust the Video settings?

Did you switch video cards recently? Sometimes OpenGL can mess things up.

Press ctrl+alt+delete and make sure no limits isn't running, if it is kill the process. Change your resolution, then start no limits. If it fails to start repeat the previous step, but navigate to the Nolimits Folder and delete logedit.txt and log.txt. You may also try rebooting your computer, sometimes a driver update will bork NL.
