newton2 keeps crashing

So newton 2 has been crashing on my computer, and there seems to be no way to fix it that I know of. It just suddenly says "newton2 has encountered a problem and needs to close." Because of this, I'm not able to get any work done and I cant produce coasters at all (I cant handbuild in NL1 for my life). I tried re-installing but that doesn't work. Anyone else encountered this problem?

Running Windows 7?
You could try Windows Virtual PC and run it on Windows XP?
