If it improves realism and controls G's better it does matter. It is done on real rides for a reason.

I doubt it. It might have the white outline when you run it in the editor, but that's even worse than the sim because you can't speed it up. (Even more so because of the gentle gradient and slow speed of 4d lift hills) And anyways, all this is assuming there will even be 4d's in this update.

If we are going to get 4d i'd think it would preview the rotation for us when you have in 3d the onride button on. And then manually scroll over the track with the arrows [:)] Also ol????????? could show the rotation with some arrows or something to enable on the tracknodes. [:)]

We'll see [:)]

Do you realize how difficult it would be to heartline a 20ft./6m. wide train?

That's why in general B&M's have more exaggerated, slower, or more forcefully lateral elements, because the cards are much wider. If the new 4D coaster in Asia, features cars that are less wide, it would be easier, but still difficult.

It's just as simple to hearline 4d coasters, just less effective. The way to heartline 4d's is exactly the same as heartlining any other coaster with the same heartline distance.

That's what I meant, but their more difficult to design because you have to keep the forces large so that the G's don't get out of control.

Why a 4D if he already designed the "unicoaster"? http://www.unicoaster.com ... [:)]

Why not? Just because he has made a similar type of coaster dosen't mean he shouldn't make a 4d.

Lol, shoot me, but I prefer the look of a Flying Dutchman instead of a B&M Flyer.. [:I] Great job, NL-team!

Me too! But you have to remember that Ole and the crew has a deal with Vekoma, not B&M and Intamin (yet at least [;)])

Nevertheless, awesome!

there is probably more scope to build a better layout with the vekoma flyers, But you still might see B&M flyers as well.

True, but I still prefer the style of B&M flyers. They just seem so much more sleek. The vekoma ones are far too square and boxy IMO. Now, what I want to see is a video clip of the trains dispatching, it'll be interesting to see how NL does the seat rotation & restraints.

I think we should be happy that vekoma is nice enough to help ole with this. I don't see B&M helping Ole on this.

We didn't say you were wrong, just that the FAQ page didn't prove anything.

If he carries on at this rate, then it seems very likely.
