I have 1 more question. My trains have 6 cars each. So I was wondering, if the fourth or the third car will be tested?

P.S. Still need some help with the 3ds!!!

^i'm guessing that gazag will test both front seat, both back seats, and the four middle seats.

as for 3ds, this is a contest, you're on your own. I'd love to help you out on any regular track but it its a contest for a reason

Right, I've got a general NL question for whoever: Can any ride produce the largest g-force values (the greatest from all seats) from any seats other than the four extremes (front two and back two)?

That is to say, can the forces be greater on middle seats than on edge seats?

Thanks.

No, thats only possible when the ride is in a flat 90deg. banked turn without losing speed. otherwise its just impossible to have higher G's than the highest of the front/back.

Of course they can. And it's quite normal too. In valleys usually the highest forces are at the middle of the train simply because the train is fastest when the middle is at the very bottom; especialy in circular valleys (which are quite common). It's a logic thing.

Harumph.

^[worship] I suppose that makes sense as well (I'm not sure why I haven't thought about it that way), but oddly I cannot remember ever finding a stronger G level in the middle of a train, even with extensive tests. Anywho, thanks everyone. I'm off to go test the middle seats (My track pulled an exact 5 vert in the way back seat, so I'll be extra cautious).

Good luck to everyone once again!

I'm not sure if someone asked this yet, but is the deadline midnight as in sunday night or midnight as in sunday morning (saturday night)? Also, what is CET? Did you mean CST? Just making sure because it looks like I'll be cutting it pretty close, I haven't had much time to work on this in the last week.

CET is probably equal to WWSST, WeeWeeSlap Standard Time, the time which appears at the head of each post.

^^Jazz, if i'm not mistaken you can send your track to gazag as many times as you want before the deadline, if you upload it in the exchange, however, that one will be your final version.

or at least, those were cjd's rules, i dunno if gazag's using this system too
