No Limits screensaver help

I installed NL on a new computer from a back up disk I made and now the screensaver feature doesn't work. What can I do?

Well, I'd suggest that the screensaver is just looking in the wrong location for the track files... don't know, but that's what I'd look for first.

what I seem to be missing is the simulator.exe although I don't know how since I backed up all the files.

Are you able to run the simulator at all, not through the screensaver, but to ride your rides?

Yes. The simulator and editor and terraformar all run normal.

Okay I know what the problem is. the only screensaver file that was backed up was the shortcut and nothing else. So I guess I am just screwed.

You can't backup NL unless you install the installer onto another drive, such as an external drive or a CD. Just copying or sending the files to another location won't work.

well everything works fine except the screensaver so some of it worked.

Im running NL from an external drive that also functions as the drive that holds the my documents folder. I just set any programs that use NL (track packager, construction kit, update patcher) to the file in my external, and ive got short cut icons and dummy files that refer the program to the actual directory when it looks for nl files on my c drive.

Also, NL uses various registry settings, so you might wanna back-up your registration key and track files etc. and re-install NL to your c drive. If that dosent fix the problem, it might be your computer.
