So, I was digging and digging and digging and came upon a couple of blocks that are indestructible! I can't even scratch them! I took a picture of them. Any idea what they are and how I should mine them? I destroyed a brand new pick ax. I don't have diamond pickaxe either. I appreciate your help.

Yeah, it's to keep people from falling out from under the map. However, there are spots where the bedrock doesn't cover (called "The Void" by some people), and if you fall through those spots, you die and lose all of your stuff (since it falls too). It looks like the sky, only from underground.

Oh, I play Minecraft. I'm currently working on building the tallest skyscraper possible in an un-modded game. I've already built a spiral staircase from bedrock to the highest spot possible. I'm building around it.
