Opening RCT3 files?

How do I "install" or "open" RCT3 parks or tracks that I've downloaded? If they're on my desktop and I click them, that doesn't open them, it just opens RCT3.

You put them in the "my documents\RCT3\parks" folder and open it with sandbox. Or you can use the scenarios folder, where it opens when you go to the scenario option below sandbox when you're at the main menu. The start new scenarios folder is for the scenario editor. But no, file association won't work with RCT3.

Can you change the defualt folder? I tend to dislike files being in "My Documents"

yeah you have to edit some stuff or you can put them in your Atari/RCT3 folder in the parks folder.
