Finally have a good project going. I'm work on getting B&M flow and style using newton and I think i got on this one. It combines element's from real inverts including Nemesis, Silver Bullet, and Patriot.

Sexy! =)The shaping of the corkscrews looks very good, I'm curious about the next update!

The hillside interaction looks really fun, but it almost leaves the wingover sequence looking a bit flat, which is a shame because they're shaped really well. I just feel you could do a bit more with them.

Looks nice. What year B&M you going for? Using your example, Nemesis and Silver Bullet/Patriot are very different in shaping, forces, and pacing.

I was mostly referring to the elements used dcs. But in terms of pacing, forces, and shaping its still a mix, it has its own pacing while still staying close to what i think a B&M should be. I'm very content with the pacing on this even though it slows down through the corks.

Okay so I've been busy with testing and reworking the layout. I need some idea though about what I could replace this little dip before the brakes with. I already have had a heartline roll suggested, but does anyone else have an idea?

I actually like the dip between helix and brakes.

Switch back to the orange track. I liked it.

Why do you want to change the dip? It looks perfect for this and is more in keeping with B&Ms style, for me. If you look at the entry to Talon's brake run for example. I really like the dip, looks like a nice quirk, but one that still sticks to already existing B&M style.

I've rode talon' and my dip is boring compared to talon's. Plus i lost my newton file so I have to start over from the first cork if I want to make any changes.

If you were going to change anything about it then, all i would say is that you should change it so that it is more like Talon's. The dip really seems to suit the ride, that's all.

^ Dont troll.

The problem is that if i make the dip bigger like talon's I will run out of space for the brake run.

If you want a more length for it you could always reduce the angle of the helix slightly and have a shorter brake segment directly before the station. I'm sure it doesn't have to be over 30m long.

Also lowering the exit of the helix might make it easier to carry some worthwile speed into the dip.

I dunno. I think it looks really good as it is. Especially if you raise your terrain from there to the station so it feels like it's dipping lower than it really is?

Well I basically took a year long break from NoLimits because of serious events happening in my life. About a week ago I found I had some free time at the of a very busy summer, so open this project back up and gave it a look though. I decided to do some tweeking to the first half and ended up building a completely different because I added a MCBR to keep it realistic. I scrapped the idea for trenches for a more simple terrain and I'm glad to say this project has been revived! I'm still not sure what level of 3ds I am going to do past a custom station and possibly footers. Comments would be appreciated!

I don't know...it looks good but I was really feeling that ending you had before. Still looking forward to it though.

Over the last year I either overwrote or deleted the old layout's newton file. I still have the actual track file but it needed some adjusting and I can't do that without the newton file. So I just restarted with and older newton file that was missing the second half and came up with this new ending. I'm really content with it because it has a more classic B&M feel to it.

Oh and I've began supporting.

Could be the perspective, but that loop looks awfully close to the height of the MCBR...I know it's simple and you probably got things on lock, but just to ask before everything is finalized...did you test the rest of the track after E-stop?

EDIT: Judging from the POV perspective though, you're probably more than fine...lol. Still a fair question to ask at this point.

I think its perspective because if you look at the pic a few posts above its no where near as high. I would guess its in the middle of both pics
What are these for?

Yeah it makes it through the loop at a decent speed. Dcs would you be willing to look over the layout so I can get another opinion on the ride besides my own before I support the whole thing and start adding scenery.
