I would love to ride this coaster. I tried building it in the park I made for RCT3. But I don't think I made it accuraly.

You think you're far? It's atleast a two day trip driving to get to Holiday World from where I am.

Hehehe...

Going May 16, 2006 which is the first Tuesday the park is open. I'm hoping for light crowds and sub-30 minute waits. BTW, does anybody know when the college and high schools around there get out?

Hopefully they can keep the coaster running reliably those first few weeks. Thats the only thing I'm worried about.

Don't forget... Voyage is a wood coaster. Wood coasters are very reliable, unlike the KK's and TTD's of the world. Chain lifts are 10,000% more reliable than hydraulic launches.

^And that really does make perfect sense too. Chains have no high pressure tubing, no launch catapult, no pulleys, and no magnetic breaks that can fail. Pretty much the only thing you have to worry about with a chain is keeping it lubed up so it doesn't scrape or drag. And that's not too hard to do.

Well, yea, but its still in the back of my mind. It won't run its best as soon as it opens, thats for sure.

Don't forget about the motor that runs the train. Just like anything mechanical, if its not properly maintained, it can fail. But knowing HW, that should not be a problem.

Hah, he lives on the OTHER side of the east coast. I'm 2.5 hours away from it and we've allready got 3 trips planned so it should be nice this summer. [8D]
