Do u think that streyu is suckish. alot of the kids at my school do..and they hate on the drummer cuz he sings and plays the drums. and i was like thats AWESOME! lol. i wanna learn how to play the drums and sing. that would b frickin awesome. And also do u think that their latest album (lead sails and a paper anchor) is more mainstream and is not as good as their previous albums. do u think this one will b there last one?[:p]

all of Atreyu's music has sucked... sorry bud... props to the drummer for being a good drummer, but everything else just sucks...

Don't listen to TMV and just say "alrighty". You are allowed to have whatever opinions you want. If you like it, keep listening. Music is a personal things.

yeah, i liked one of there CD's, i forget the name right now, but its the only CD that i like because it sounds more organized i guess, its not all random and as heavy as can be, thats the only way i can think about it. their drummer is cool. so they arent as bad as all the kids that say stuff to you about them, but they arent the greatest either. but, yeah, just because people say they dont like them doesnt mean you have to stop listening to them, lol. you should enjoy them if you like them.

"Lead Sails Paper Anchor" is the only full album that i like from Atreyu, and like most of the songs on it.

other than that, i only like Bleeding Mascara and Right Side Of the Bed from the rest of their discography.

atreyu kicks ass and I don't care what anybody thinks. I think there are a lot of bands out there like Atreyu and Fall out Boy who get a lot of sh!t because they represent their scene, but they do it from a mainstream point of view. As a result, i think they get labeled as sale outs, or uncool. But really, i think the people who make these kinds of generalization are just posers trying look cool, but when it comes down to it, they have no real appreciation for music or what it is as an art.

But Atreyu is a fukking awsome band, i saw them at ToC last month and the show was just unbelievable, one of the best i've been to.. mainly cuz of A7X, but still. What Atreyu delivers is a group of people who actually know how to play thier instruments, and they know how to rock.

look at it this way...

all the hot girls are into the EDM scene...

i like all of their really old stuff, ("suicide notes and butterfly kisses" and anything before that) but i havent listened to anything recent

and i completely agree with coolbeans, even fall out boy's "take this to your grave" is an awesome album whether its "cool" or not
