phpbb uses MD5, unless you use a dictionary password, they you're pretty much safe. However, it is wise to change your password every couple of months so change it anyway. If you use a random string for your password, then it's nearly impossible for them to get your password. The only way to decipher MD5 passwords is to use a comparison chart and copy and paste each entry and see if it matches anything in there. Usually that's the dictionary ran through MD5. Anyway, yeah, change your password every couple of months and use different passwords on each website. [:p]

It appears(from the hackers own admission on their website)that this is not the first time they have done something like this. I would assume that they more then likely already have such a chart or tool to decrypt the information.

If you are hacking a site you're just a no lifer who doesn't have any friends. So to comfort your own pain and sorrow, you're starting to take down other peoples hard work, just to fill up that huge gap.

Why don't they just commit suicide right away? [}:)]

Edit:
Oh, and if a lot of my accounts are going to be hacked now. Then I know a hacker didn't like what I've said. So that he replies in his standard childish way of taking down what I had. [lol]

To all hackers out there: Grow Up!

I second that.
If they do it for a challenge, atleast do it for something helpful, instead of something that causes chaos to numerous people.

Standard SQL injection against the youtube clone script. Patch the exploit and don't make the same mistake again.

I'm sure Robb learned his lesson.
