Screamscape says : "Yesterday was the final day to ride the Texas Giant until it reopens in 2011. Details were still not announced yet, but they did say that when it reopens it ??????will incorporate elements never before used in a wooden coaster.?????? "
any thoughts on what this means?

Overbanked turn, and probably a steep drop or something. I predict it'll be Mammut of the USA.

They started tearing down the sections they aren't reusing today. They say they're only planning to change about 15% of the track configuration.

Perhaps I should make my own Texas Giant tribute video. I think I'll use the song "100 years".

They started demo today. They pulled down a 12 x 8 foot section using a chainsaw and a bull dozer for the media, gave a speech. Then promptly told everyone to GTFO giving the same misleading information from closing night.
