at 2:19 you can see his foot resting and pushing off in midair. there was some form of glass or something there

It's still possible to have sweaty palms that cold. Wind wouldn't change anything. It can't be THAT cold because he'd have on heavier clothing.

^ not necessarily. Because of the climate here, I'm fairly used to cold weather, when it snows and it's around 40F, I still only wear sleeveless tops and 3/4 lengths.

Yeah, I'd be wearing heavier clothing too if I was hanging around a thousand feet in the air. Granted they had parachutes.
