*Question to WWS* If we make custom tunnels, they'll have to be uploaded to Coaster Candy because their in the form of 3DS's, correct?

I messed around with that tunnel tool a bit and it is pretty cool. You can make some funny ones with it. Another fun addition to the game [pshades]

yes but they can only contain the track and any cartextures taht go with it. no objects

No, you MUST upload .zip files here [;)] However in your zip files you're only allowed to place the trackfile and the cartexture(s). Additional files like environments or cartextures should be uploaded at coastercandy.com
btw, if you scrolled up a bit in this topic you could have read that [:p]

oh, i know how to work with the tunnel maker (if u didn't already know)

Make your track, with the tunnels
go to the tunnel maker, make ur tunnel shape (which is a bit hard, but im only explaning how i think it works)
it deletes ur tunnels, and makes 3ds of the tunnel u made, in place of the tunnels before.
So don't attempt to move ur tunnels after, cuz then they really got messed up. Oh, i think they are saved as one big 3D, so if u move one, they all move....

I understand it, but I wish you were able to place free nodes then connect them like building supports. Its a lot harder when the program automatically places them, so sometimes it doesn't come out how I want it. Also, sometimes doing the inside part, it messes up the outside part, and sometimes doing the outside part, it messes up the inside. And the last four problems I have with it are:
1.The is no way to automatically delete the tunnels from a track
2.No textures!
3.I don't like the automatic "snap to grid". You should be able to change some settings with this program.
4.It doesn't do a good job of darkening the track. I tried it out at 35% darker and it changed the track color to black.

If those were fixed, I think it would be an almost perfect tool.

EDIT:
I figured out a little more after experimenting, and some of these things ARE in the editor.
Things in my list to ignore:
#1-You can delete or move the object and go to the track and delete all invalid references
#3-The box that has 0.5 in it is the snap going by squares in the grid

just press save for that track, and it will save it instead of the tunnels automaticly!
