Aren't GCI's quite noisy? Alton Towers has noise restrictions right?
Oh, were you expecting something here?

GCI suddenly re surging in the wooden market. Lightning run clone, viper, Invader, now whatever this is. 2 rides 2017 2 2016 isn't to bad for them.
All hail your great Arrow Dynamics overlords.

Every chance that's not actually the layout, yet.

But if it is, surely it is GCI.

Very true that they are bloody noisy though, they're gonna have to do something about that!

Also... What could be "world first" about this? Is that not how the Secret Weapon name is acquired?

It does look GCI'ish. I'm pretty sure noise was factored into the design so it'll be quieter than most GCI's.

Wodan uses a small strip of polyurethane on it's wheels to make them quieter than normal woodies. So if this is going to be a GCI woody. I'm pretty sure they are going to do the same.

I really fail to see why Alton would go standard woodie now of all times, People in the UK are already brainwashed my the media that coasters aint safe.
You really think a fully wooden contruction is going to help that thought process. Also... all that un used land, using half of the flumes footprint is a poor descision

Don't all Secret Weapons have a world's first? What's so special about a GCI wooden?

First 90 degree banking on a wooden coaster in Europe would be my guess.

I am under the impression that Racer at KI still has one side backwards.
