I feel like there might be some airtime on that drop.

Just a few months ago this didn't even look like it was close to being finished, and it's finally been topped off! Assuming the trackwork's all done, it shouldn't be longer than a few more months before this thing starts testing. Is the track all done now?

Also, yeah mkingy there might be just a little bit of airtime on that thing. Maybe. :P

Will the airtime at the first drop be like that of B&M or of Intamin, judging from its shape? I'm curious... :)

Personal coaster count as of 3/2025 -- 222
"500" perhaps by the end of this year.

Much sharper pull-over than other Intamins. Shaping looks more like the recent B&M hypers and gigas. This ride is such a departure from the norm in several ways.

Yeah that crest profile is really tightened. It's looking great. I like the all-over black color scheme.

Intamin's take on a B&M hyper is very beautiful. Let's see how this monster is going to pace out!

The whole public vote must've had an effect on this ride, Energylandia almost started an arms race between Intamin and Vekoma to design something crazier than the other!

I'm glad they really are going with the splash pool. You can tell the concrete pourings around the final valley indicate it. Or maybe it will just be a fountain-action splash, like on Shambhala. There seem to be spigots, but those could just be refill spigots.

I also love how massive the track style is. This thing is going to be gigantic in person.

Aside from the images that look like a haunted house it looks pretty damned cool. Excited for the POV!

Yeah the photo quality plus the fact that the station area's still under construction makes the place look like some abandoned nuclear facility or something.

It's interesting how the turnaround kind of levels out before diving down again. I wasn't expecting that. Also that's the first picture where it truly looks massive.

Here's a closer look at that nearly completed turn around:

Image

Image

...and i say nearly, because in this picture, you can see track piece with a support mounting with no supports attached to it. This indicates that there are supports yet to go up:

Edit: The final support piece is now in-place:

I guess this is my ignorance in engineering showing, but wouldn't a support like that be dead weight unless it's there for the train to "push against" as it whizzes by? Or would it be some kind of anti-twisting thing?

That coaster is looking huge. Especially the lifthill seems to go on forever.

Huh, that actually looks like it goes upside down but they're not marketing it as such so that they can still call it a hyper. Though such technicalities are pretty ridiculous anyways IMO.

The extra support is for rotational force. The force of the train twisting will cause a rotational force that will stress the wheel running rails, this extra support is to take the strass out of the rails and put it into the structure.

when i first saw the design i thought it looks abut okish. the build progress and how it now stands i would say its going to be up there with the best hypers in the world.
