The persepctive really threw me there - I couldn't work it out and thought it might be a weird 2-across B&M like the one off train they made for Fuji Q?

hard to tell where the track ends so far but yes the supports for the rest of the ride are up, also if you are in the Ohio/Indiana/Kentucky/West Virginia area, there is a first rider auction with a minimum donation of $150! All proceeds will go to A Kid Again. So far there is $11K donated and raised!!!!

Trains are all on the track. Wit the webcam being took down, one can only imagine that the ride might be operational soon.

Seems to keep it's speed really well. Excited for this one!

Very excited to have this ride basically in my back yard. Ill be sure to post a TR from Opening Day/First Rider Event when the day comes!!!!

In other new's if some dont recall, Vortex's trains (and Firehawk's) trains where sent to sister park Carowinds. Firehawk last year and Vortex this year. Firehawk's became part donors to Nighthawk and well................................... Vortex's have replaced the Carolina Cyclone's trains (or some car's)

If you go here, WCCB, A news station out of Charlotte with the series Wilson's World stopped by the park. Around the 7:50 mark of the video they show Cyclone's trains...................which in turn are Vortex trains.

It should also be noted that this coaster will be getting a soundtrack from a familiar name...:

Believe it or not, this is only their second soundtrack they have done for a USA attraction. The first one being Mystic Timbers, also at Kings Island.

The originality, I'm gagging. Orion's ride time is right on par with Leviathan (and both are a hair longer than I305), but an additional element would have gone a long way. Orion's elements are all kind of more deliberate than Leviathan's were, and it definitely has a stronger second half. Looks like it gives a solid ride, even if it's easy to lament the towering brake run.
