I notice on a lot of tracks now people have really nice entrance and exit ramps and lines and I was wondering if they really lined up all those nodes or if there was a short cut to creating those?

you can use the snap sometimes to create very quickly a line up of nodes. Some peeps also use just 3d objects to create ramps, etc...

What I found on is that when snap is on you can put down a bunch of nodes and they will be lined up the same heighted as the first segment vortex..someone correct me if I am wrong

snap mode just aligns nodes to the grid in the editor. To get your support nodes to line up in whatever view you are using, place one node at the hieght/depth you want it and then click it. After clicking it place the rest that fall into line with it.

Yeah...i suck at explaining things

i thought snap was the precision of the nodes, like if you put it on 1 meters, the node will move one meter everytime you press [up]...

How do you change your snap settings to adjust the height of the nodes?

Snap means that the nodes and verticies will "snap" to your grid. However, you can adjust the grid and then adjust the snap to be different.

When you talk about using the keyboard to move stuff (using the arrow keys and Page up Page down) thats when the Move-Snap comes into play. That determines the incriments at which each button press equals.
