RCDB.com's New Look

Check it out. rcdb.com has a new look, personally I think the tabs per coaster for facts/photos are cool, but its too plain still IMO. Still pretty cool though.

It sure is an improvement! I don't really like (read: hate) the colors though, it seems easy to change and it can look so much better if you change it to something a bit better looking, like a darker blue, red, green, anything but this. Also nice move to make the site in multiple languages, even in dutch, it's a miracle!

However, looks better than the old look, the tabs are indeed very nice on the coaster pages. [pshades]

i love that it isn't real fancy, just a normal place with all the stats, i dont like the colors, but i can live

Yeah the colour could be a tad better, but its definately an improvement

Well, it does not suck! LOL Takes a bit of getting used to, but overall it is a nice overhaul they gave to the site!

It looks nice IMO.

it looks a lot better now, and I sort of prefer the plain look.

I love the plain look, I think the site wouldn't look as good if it was crammed with graphics and was organized fancier. I think the colors fit the site well also.

after using it, i think i like the older better, the page loads faster now tho

I like it, but the need to change that rcdb.com bit in the top left. Put in a nice logo or something. Other than that it looks cool

I like the uber-plainness. Its just a database, thats it. The pictures are all mostly submitted and alot of the information is too. I have always loved its simplicity and this is a fresh new, but still simple layout.

Plus, the lack of graphics always helps load times. If you remember he was saying how hes getting a rediculous amount of hits on the site as well as bandwidth being through the roof. He said he didnt want to do ads or memberships so its all free, but hes having a harder time.

Maybe this has a lower load on the servers and will reduce the liklyhood of him going to anything like that.

I'll get used to it, Im sorta startin to like it.
