RCT2 dueling coasters crash the game

Whenever I make a dueling coaster with 3 block sections each my game crashes with the "access violation" error as soon as I test one of the coasters. It works in non-block section mode though. I have an eMachines comp with an AMD Athlon XP processor. Does anybody know how to fix my problem?

This happened to me too, I was never able to figure out why it happened though. Oh well, that PC's long gone. Are you on the latest version of direct x (9) and are you on your video card's latest drivers? Also make sure you are running nothing else in the backround.

Yes my DirectX and vid drivers are up to date. The coasters crash the game in any park as well as the rollercoaster designer tool.

I found a temporary solution. I can build each coaster and test each without synchronizing the stations. When the results are in, I can then synchronize them and the game won't crash.

This has happened a lot to me too. Never realised it had a connection with dueling coasters. AI never found an solution to the problem either.

i hate that error! but ive never made a dueling coaster, so i dont know the problem...
