Its Official, www.ridehost.com has been taken offline. Where will we upload our NoLimits designs for testing and such now?

looks like someone didn't pay their registration fees and have now been hijacked. Much like coastergames.net did in the past and which I own now [:D]

can you set something like that up here oscar? same layout and stuff, so that we know we have somewhere that we can upload for other people to test that is also local and not just like the exchange where you get burned if it's a little bumpy. so somewhere like ridehost... perhaps?

A file hosting website that you could upload a .nltrack very easilly. No fuss at all; just click, get the link, and go.

I really liked it because of its simplicity.

just check out what happened to this poor website here:

www.coastercrazy.com

I mean, someone has turned it into something horrible, when it probably used to be a good hobby website of some sort.... isn't that right Oscar. [lol]

Damn right, I still own www.coastercrazy.com and that's my work. It's much better now than what it was before, if you catch my drift. [;)]

Hello Guys,

Sorry to drag this topic back from the dead but I thought you may be interested to know that RideHost.com is making a comeback.

However, rather than simply being a file hosting site for theme park related material, the site will re-launch as a place to host all of your theme park creations from the likes of RCT and NoLimits. You'll be able to share your track files and accompanying media (photos & videos) with the world and receive ratings and comments on them. You'll also have access to various stats so that you can see how many people are downloading your tracks.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for the site - please let me know and we'll be sure to consider them [:)]

Will there be a forum or message board to discuss related matter?

Will there be any form of maximising the downloads by a limited downloads per time or download/rate ratio?

There are no plans for a message board - discussions will be able to take place via the comments system.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by maximising downloads through limited downloads per time? All files will be instantly downloadable 24/7.

^Coastersims used a regulation where you had to rating a percentage of your downloads, while Coastercrazy has a limited no. of downloads per day.

Ah right, that makes sense. Well I'm pleased to say that we have no planned limits [:)]
