Sometimes I'm just browsing RCDB or the itnernet and I come across something I had no idea existed. I think it doesn't help that there was a time I didn't follow coaster developments but still.
Found a Vekoma Stingray - a flying coaster with outside rails (of booster bike opposed to classic corkscrew coasters) that popped up in 2009 that surprised me.
Anybody else ever found something they had no idea existed? Or am I just an ultra noob :D
They're surprisingly good fun actually, rode Ben:10 at Drayton Manor which is a themed version and is some unexpected airtime. only problem is it doesn't drag you up to the top for the return leg so it's a tad slower on the return leg!
I had actually passed over this coaster when I saw "Gerstlauer" and "spinning," but now I see that this thing is crazy. An indoor launched spinning coaster with an inversion.
(thanks Dirk)
I also just found out that Walibi Holland ****ed with their Boomerang and added the ***y new Vekoma trains.

You're welcome. It's a really fun ride!

I already talked to Maurer back in 2009 on the EAS Amsterdam about inversions on Spinning coasters. [:)]
