I'm really glad you guys are re-designing the site. I really like the look of that homepage draft. But I also think the whole coaster/park database isn't really needed, at least for now. I do have a couple ideas to share. I really think the rating system needs to be changed. I've always liked the wa...

Does anybody know if the DEV team has considered putting this on steam? It seems like it could be a huge opportunity to reach more players and make the game more popular.

I'm pretty sure they already said wingriders wont be in the release, but they will probably come in an update.

I'm starting to get more and more depressed as I realize that I won't have time to play NL2 as much as I would like. Hopefully it's out before winter break so I can just go crazy for a month [:)].

Damn I need a new computer for this. Can't wait to start building again. I wonder if they will have wingriders at release, if they don't it will surely be added in an update. It's going to be interesting to see how active this site will become when it is released.

Well at least this ride will pull a good amount of people away from the actual good rides. I never thought a ride could feel so gimmicky, the "YOLO" stuff didn't help. I kept hoping they would put in a storm runner-like ride someday, but I guess that was stupid to hope for.

Update. The layout is finished, supports are finished. All that is left is the station and surrounding scenery. Two new pictures, comments are always welcome. Removing Invert Catwalks completely

When I check off both railings I'm left with the middle part. I've thought of replacing the texture with a blank transparent one using the construction kit env editor but that failed. Any ideas?

Okay I've been stalled on this because I can't seem to figure out how to get sketchup to properly export my 3Ds. I know how to fix the black shadow problem. But I'm getting these weird black faces that don't appear in sketchup. Also some faces are randomly disappearing after I run it through Anim8or...

The force transition needs to be more linear. Lower the tension in timewarping screen you posted until you get the right shape. Also make sure the curved segment before has no lead out. That should do it.

Yeah your right about there being a lot more to a B&M Hill than the sharp crest. Judging from the pictures in newton I noticed that there seems to be two transitions from the valley to the hill. Like he reduced the positive gs a bit, then made the transition from positive to negative. That's what ma...

I like the name. If your going for realistic shaping then you need to work on the drop and the first hill. The transition on the drop is too long, probably because you used curved geometry with a big lead out. The hill needs to have quicker positive to negative transition. If you want me to explain ...

That is because you need to use the color coding system because ahg doesn't work with negative Gs. Go look back at the tutorial on the first page because I don't remember exactly what to do.

This is looking nice. But you need to work on the colors. Green track, faded green train, and dark green supports just looks bad in my opinion. One of those colors has to change. Maybe a dark green track with some other color for the supports. Add a little contrast because the green everything doesn...

This is looking really good. Like the others said just darken the train color a tad and it will be sweet. As for supports I'd start with a dark red or something and experiment from there.

Small Update: Almost done with supporting, everything is supported besides the brake run, MCBR, and lift hill. I'm starting to mess with scenery because I still don't know what level of 3ds I want to do. Comments are always appreciated. http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii285/flaming-what/Optic_zps...

Yeah it makes it through the loop at a decent speed. Dcs would you be willing to look over the layout so I can get another opinion on the ride besides my own before I support the whole thing and start adding scenery.

Over the last year I either overwrote or deleted the old layout's newton file. I still have the actual track file but it needed some adjusting and I can't do that without the newton file. So I just restarted with and older newton file that was missing the second half and came up with this new ending...

Well I basically took a year long break from NoLimits because of serious events happening in my life. About a week ago I found I had some free time at the of a very busy summer, so open this project back up and gave it a look though. I decided to do some tweeking to the first half and ended up build...

That turn-around looks like it needs some work. Like you said you're not going for realism but I can't imagine that being fun to ride because it looks so tame until the sharp turn at the top.
