Why do you think the height requirement will be less than 48"?

"The stingray was a logical choice as the quick movements of stingrays will be mimicked while riding the coaster," [Marketing manager Ray] Gonzales says. "With our goal of a new thrilling attraction, we also wanted to make sure that younger thrill-seekers could also partake in this adventure. Texas Stingray features a height requirement of only 46 inches, which will allow families to ride together.???

I hope they actually manage to lower it even further. I recall George and the dragon in our Efteling can take folks from 44 inch and up. It's only in the 4 middle rows, but the option is there.

Nice view from the top of Texas Stingray's first drop:

Looks like it's running in alright, I'm just not a huge fan of the layout really.

Maybe this is just my inner GCI stan talking, but I seriously have no doubts that this is gonna be the sleeper hit of 2019. Looks awesome.

Looks dull as poop to me. Like Wildcat / Roar but somehow even rampier.

The first test really looks slow to me. This should be a fun ride if it manages to speed up properly.

the pov looks much better on speed. Should deliver a fun ride, even though the hills seem all very small?

Is this the first time a major roller coaster has opened on a leap day? I honestly can't think of any other examples.
