This isn't a joke. I hope this doesn't effect Twisted Colossus in any way!

http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-m ... story.html

Update:
In a breaking news report, Colossus at Magic Mountain, which just closed around 3 weeks ago for its transition into Twisted Colossus, has caught on fire today around 1:30 PM. No one was reported injured, most likely because the park was not open today. The cause of the fire has been most likely due to welders doing construction work near the ride and a spark from the welders caught the wood on fire.

Here is a video of the firefighters spraying water at colossus to try to stop the flames. While they are doing this however, a piece of Colossus completely breaks off and falls to the ground. Credit to KTLA for the video footage and credit to whomever uploaded it to YouTube.

Yeah I know I just don't really know why... What are they doing or using that causes a spark or a flame anyway.

Using grinders to cut the existing rails + old dried out oily wood are not a good combination.

Supposedly using a cutting torch to cut the rails.

NOOOO!!!!
Dam RMC is on fire lol
This is just bad for both RMC and SFMM. This could have a big effect on TC, but yet again didn't the original colossus have big problems during construction?

But dam, this is weird!!!!

This is a good metaphor for the current state of Six Flags.

Good one! Toasted Colossus... that's brilliant

Ehh.. I don't know what to say about this. It will obviously open a lot later than expected because of the huge portion of the lift collapsing. But yeah Six Flags has to get their act together
It's been a long time
