Very early stages, but I thought I'd let you know now since I do plan on finishing this. My newest ride- Sissyneck. It is Black Mamba like, I hope to have a fully themed area with tunnels and stuff.

Can't have one if you ride an SLC.

You know the B&M dip actually does level out to 0 slope in real life.

Mine is -3 degrees actually, it looks like more because it starts to bank early.

B&M inverts first "level out", then as the real drop begins start to bank. I have no idea why so many people seem incapable of making a realistic B&M pre-drop.

I still think by looking at photos that some pre-drop dips or whatever you want to call them have a slight negative slope of -1 or something.

Talon has a noticeably sloped and straight section after the dip, and I'm sure there are more. I don't think it's nearly as steep as his, but it is angled downwards from what I remember.

I do like the layout you have so far though, keep it up.

Well whatever is realistic... I did what makes it flow nicely, its a very smooth transition. There are obviously no RULES to follow, I mean dcs didnt even do a pre-drop on aolios (sp?) for example. Keeping the slow downward actually does make the speed a little faster which is realistic IMO.

I think if you do something like a B&M drop it should be the same as the real ones, only because every one is almost exactly the same, and changing it up isn't going to positively affect the ride all that much. Thus, accuracy to style would be more important than originality there IMO. Can it be different? Sure! Just wouldn't be my suggestion.

I made my Aiolos drop after the precedent of Nitro, Silverstar, and Hydra's drops (and maybe a couple more, not sure) was created. I most likely would have included a predrop had that precedent not been there, because in that case it seemed best to assume the dip was there on B&Ms for a reason.

It's really not a huge deal though, not something I'd worry about too much.

The layout on this ride is kindof jammed right now. I've tried about 5 different things to follow my vertical loop and nothing fits, so i'm gonna give it a few weeks off, refresh my mind, and try again. In the meantime I've started this thing - http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i30961

I started over on the trackwork because it was really too crowded and rushed. I'm making it more organized and easier to support this time.
