And all of which were deserved. Heck, Robben's lucky he didn't get a red card, there were many points in the game where he could have reasonably received a card but didn't, so he's lucky he got out with just a yellow. The Ducth honestly look very dissapointing. IMO there is no way they are going to get past the first round unless they can play 90 mins. they way they played from 20-45 mins in this game. As for Argentina, wow, just wow, they look AMAZING.

not in spain [;)]

I love to listen to the fans in Spanish league games, when a team scores: "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!" [lol] sounds like a death metal singer [lol]

Actually, I've just been thinking about it, there has been a marked lack of violence at this world cup so far... It's cus all the chavs have been banned from going, hahaha! Well, that and the fact England haven't played Germany, Poland, Argentina, France, switzerland etc etc... There was violence in England [lol], stupid liverpuddlian weirdo's fighting each other at a big outdoor screen [lol] ejits

Robben's yellow card was undeserverd. Okay he went to the ground quitte easy, but 2 man werepushing him to all the sides. also the hit his feet. Robben should have had a penalty for that. The referee sucked!

whatever, we're in the 1/8 finals. The 20 minutes the netherlands played good were awsome. If they were able to do this for 90 minutes we might win the WC :P:P:P:P:P:P

The refs were awful. They need to learn to let them play, and only give cards when they are truly warranted. Also, as Breckenbaur stated before the game, the refs need to start issuing warnings first, then awarding cards if the rough play/hard tackles continue. It should be like the older world cup days, when you rarely saw multiple yellow cards given, let alone red cards.

Still, both straight reds were striaght reds, in any league. An elbow to the face? Thats violent conduct, red card. Two footed with studs up? That's potentially an ankle breaker, straight red again. However i thought Pope was unfortunate with his first yellow, seemed he was getting his shirt pulled =|

the refs in this world cup are awful [lol] way way WAY too harsh, they'll never ref in England, any of them, they'd be murdered haha.

I'm having such a laugh reading weeweeslap writing about football... "expulsions"? what the love is that?! [lol] haha! ...Some of the other stuff too haha, amusing.

Brasil haven't got a chance of winning this world cup now if you ask me, they look awful... I guess it is brasil though, they can just turn it on when they feel like it so, we'll wati and see I guess.

Ok yeah, scratch that, Brasil have just scored, Adriano 50th minute

Brasil 1 - 0 Ausrtalia

Nah, love off was the second one a red [lol], it was late and quite high, agreed, but I don't think there was any intent there. If it's a genuine attempt to go for the ball and you just make a proper hash of it, it's a yellow card, not red. If your name is roy keane, then you should just be given a red card anyway...

Mind you, Australia could've drawn level almost immediately (open goal).

Mexico lost against Portugal 2-1 with what is very clear that the ref's were in favor of Portugal giving yellow cards every which way to Mexico and even giving a red card to a player which in reply is no where near commiting any infractions where Portugal was commiting the same and worse offenses and barely getting any calls much less cards up until the last 3 minutes of the game where they did give 2-3 cards to the portugeese players. Then the stupid Mexican Marquez decided to stick his hand out and cause a penalty kick and then later to top it off Omar Bravo missed the penalty kick and then later missed a clear shot at a goal [:(] I am one pist off Mexican, time to go and make some street violence! Cya!!!
-edit-
Angola tied with Iran automatically qualifying Mexico to the second round with 4 points far behind the leader Portugal with 9 points. In 2 hours and a half the match begins with lower states vs. argentina to see which team will face Mexico and Portugal in the 8th finals.

They can have as many names as they like if they keep producing players like Marco van Basten, Johan Cruyff, Dennis Bergkamp, Arjen Robben, Robin van Persie.... etc...

@extraxyz, its THE NETHERLANDS dumb ass! We're going to win from those lazy argentians. The want to stay were they are and if they lose they can!

I hope we'll lose, then the players know that they have to wake up and start playing!
