Top Thrill Dragster Getting Repainted For 2016!

Most of you are probably aware by now, but TTD is getting a new coat of paint for 2016! A good chunk of the lower track sections have already been painted, and take it from me, someone who has seen it in person now, it looks fantastic! I don't even know how I thought the old colors looked good!

Anyway, the tower will be worked on in pieces with the ultimate goal to have it all done by Summer 2016, with the expectation that it could take as long as Fall 2016 to complete!

Honestly I think it will be better to see Raptor not totally covered in bird doo-doo.

its amazing what a new coat of paint can do for a ride like this, or any ride for that matter. Thanks for the update TTD03.

They leave Dragster alone. See CP has a ratio of skyrats to spiders depending on the ride. The more skyrats their are, the less spiders will be around.

Gee TTD, you really did need a new paint job. I was beginning to think they would never repaint you and you would NEVER get a girlfriend.

Raptor will be painted like Talon next year! Both are surprisingly related to birds!

Any word on how far they have gotten so far with the TTD paint and if they have started on the paint for Raptor?

They've gotten pretty far. Not much of the tower is done but there's some spots here and there. The launch track through the white and red section is almost done. Around the same for the down side. Raptor was started last week. I haven't been over there to see the progress yet.
