Michigan. Right now I'm in Ann Arbor for school, but originally from a small town between Flint and Lansing.

Isn't the US a part of North America?

If the list read "Britain", then it should also have read "North America" [lol]

I'm only messing, but it's true, the country I live in is England. Britain isn't even a country. Britain is the name of 3 of the 4 countries that make up the UK. Well no, strictly that's not true either, seeing as it's not called Britain, it's called Great Britain [lol]

I'd understand why you'd say, US, Europe, UK.... but US, Europe, Britain... makes no sense?

It makes no sense to name the UK separate from Europe, as the UK (and Ireland) are also in Europe.
That would be the same as having North America and the USA as options in the poll.

Sort of agree, but while the UK is not part of the European mainland, I think it's best for all of us if we just forget about the fact that we are part of Europe.

If the European Court stopped trying to force their unlogical bullshit on us while charging us ?????????48million a day for the privilege, I might be happier about our geological position. But until the EU stops trying to make us give our prisioners the vote and stops spewing thei "anti-logic" at us; to me and an ever increasing percentage of people, the UK is not in Europe.

Gouldy, North America is a continent, while Britain isn't. There's your difference ;)

That was sort of my earlier point. Well, my point was that "Britain" isn't really anything. It's not a country or a continent. "Britain" disregards one of the countries in the UK and yet isn't a country of it's own. Just thought it was a really odd choice to go for.

But either way, I'm from England, not Britain, or the UK, or Europe. Like if someone from another continent asked you where you were from, you'd say "USA", as opposed "North America".

Sorry about the Britain thing. I wanted to include Scotland and Wales. Britain is to England as America is to US.

Surely by this logic; everywhere is connected to everywhere and hence no one should be allowed to claim they are from anywhere but "earth"?

Yorkshire is a nice place, I'm not gonna deny, I wouldn't have said it was the nicest part of the UK though, let alone the world. Even so, my dislike for it lies with people I have previously known from Yorkshire. It's up to you guys to change my mind [lol]
