I don't have SM but I would like to try it out.

I have a few questions:

1. Where can I find a SM demo for free?
2. All of you with SM and NL experience, is SM any good compared to NL?
3. Are there any updates coming soon that I should be aware of if I buy SM, or is SM an old game?

answering your questions:
1. You can download a 30 days trial from www.wounded-heart.com
2. IMO is SM quite the same as NL. Only more track styles
3. Not soon but there come sometimes small updates from users. Like torch511 with the vekoma motorbike trains[:P]

Personally, I don't like SM that much, I really dislike the the editor and its boring riding the coasters.

SM v1.x is still actively developed, although most of the work lately has been on the Object Editor. I'm saving most of the new stuff for v2.0, which will be a free update.

SM is great, if only there could be a bit better and less fuzzy graphics..........
