Despite Arrow being out of business, it was a company that broke records and technically started the infamous Coaster Wars!

Some of them are - some flow really well. I think it was more a manufacture limitation that caused the issue with the transitions.

Check out the entry and exit of the cork on Drachen Fire:

Arrow is a bit excusable because of ignorance. You have to remember the idea of the heartline took awhile for people to figure out. I've still never quite figured out why they made the entrance to their corkscrews so bad all the time, but oh well.

Keep in mind Iron Wolf/Apocalypse isn't heartlined and it's a B&M (their second ride, Vortex at CGA how ever is heartlined),

You can actually see the wheels on the inside of the track lifting up at that section.

As far as roller coaster manufacturers go, Arrow gave us probably more than any other manufacture. I love arrow coasters. But yeah the transitions are painful! Viper at SFMM is great, smooth, classic, and awesome, but the transition into the corkscrews! ahhhhh! You fear them from a distance and brace yourself!

I agree, I don't hate Arrow, but their transitions were horrible in most cases.

Also I might add that Excalibur is not bad at all, especially compared to some Arrows. I find Excalibur extremely pristine and enjoyable!

That thing that looks like an SLC ripoff...... Wat, hao.

At the top of the turnaround on Excalibur at Valleyfair, I always get a good smack to the left side of my body. The coaster overall isn't that bad, but that one spot hurts.

I rode Dragon Fire at CW and I thought that I would be in severe pain. The loops were perfect and I thought that maybe it wasn't so bad. Then came the turn into the corkscrews. ARGH so much pain. It's like arrow never heard of the roll node.

Juvelen the new intamin coaster in dk was painful mostly because of the freedom to move your neck and back during the fast turns. The track is very smooth as you can see from any video!

Star Jet used to run without brakes before it's accident (and subsequent sinking....) and it looked really awesome actually. All of the hills had pretty violent ejector airtime.

That SLC however......jesus.......

Please Vekoma use your new track and trains to build SLC's.
