2007 WWS Coaster Draft (Round 8)

Woodie Man already sent out invites.

When was this? I do not seem that as being fair as that was his personal choice. Also what if the invites are declined?

RRollergod, they are not personal decisions, I can assure you of that. Your ongoing inability to accept the rules is a perfect example of how immaturity keeps you from getting a possible invite.

If they don't accept, Woodie Man told me he has 3 or so other distinguished members in mind.

well, im not positive, but i think i can still sign up, and ill be in some kinda lottery for being in the contest, if that is correct, i would like to sign up, if not, then nevermind[lol]

in a PM then you didn't get invited, but you can still participate if you win the lottery.

Thats what I do not get. I am an active member for 4 years and have done this two times before and yet I am never received an "invite".

I think I am starting to get how this works. Woo! Hope I get to participate this year. I never have before, as I have never made the sign-up deadline. This year (hopefully) I have.

The lottery will be determined if nobody else joins the sign-up before 7pm site time. Instead of clogging the forums with number guessing, the lotto signees will have their names drawn from a hat to round out the final 12. The hat method will also be faster as we don't have to wait for everyone to post a number.

Also, an additional rule: If you fail to make two picks in a row, you will be disqualified from the draft and the person next in line (a non lotto winner) will take over your spot and your coasters.

Remember too that not all invites may be confirmed, with the number of people in the lotto pool you all have great chances.

Question: Is the lotto completely random? Or is it somewhat based off of time being here/popularity/respectedness?

The lotto will be random, but with the number of people we have in the pool, there should be a good chance of people getting in.

When we post our parks will it be like in previous years with the land plot etc?

I don't think I'm going to bother with the land plot. Last year I was kind of annoyed with how long the whole park posting page was and how it took so long to get to the results or to vote. This year I'm de-emphasizing that a little bit. The write up is optional.
