Muse and Within Temptation. They both are near perfection live on stage. especially their vocals are stunning. Bellamy is also a great guitarist.
Another artist who REALLY impressed me when singing live was Celine Dion. Not really a band but.. What a voice! I saw her singing 'My heart will go on' live a few years ago on World Children's Day. I don't know any other artist with a more purer voice like that. Except for some opera-sopranos like Diana Damrau, but that's another category.

Celine Dion is amazing. Watch her duet with Josh Groban on the song The Prayer and you'll see what the two best vocalists in the world sound like together <33.

I like Skillet, I'm not a Christian guy but I still think they're awesome.

Uhmm.. P!aTD, FOB, Blink182, Sum41, Simple Plan.. etc.

Mikado, here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3VER-_H6Wg

Well I guess I am into solo artists more then bands, but a one man band is still a band.

Michael Hedges <-- God
Don Ross <-- God's Brother Bob
Stanley Jordan <-- DemiGod
Michael Kelsey <-- Supernatural being
Andres Segovia <-- Zues
James Hill <-- Hercules, like Zeus, but with smaller lightning bolts
Miles Davids <-- Thor

As for bands

Anything jazz/rock/blues/metal/Johnny Cash Country or any band with talent really. Its not the genre thats bad, its the musicians.

Casting Crowns!

They made 2 of the best Christian CD's ever right off the bat, with great messages, and every single song on their last album was incredible! No filler songs at all. Plus, they can be both soft and touching ("Prodigal"), and driving power-rock ("American Dream", "What if His People Prayed"). I don't think anyone else in the whole Christian music industry has more talent than these guys & gals. And with their whole goal in outreach and in expanding global student ministries, there's nothing not to like about 'em.

Anyone who likes Christian rock, check out their third album, "The Altar and the Door", which hits stores exactly 8 days from now.
