Q: did anyone ever had close encounters with lightning?

well, i did, it happend about two winters ago...
i was still working at a greenhouse 5 mins west of me and we we're working in the back, just taking care of strawberry plants, then it started raining reely bad, and then it the thunder started and we were counting the seconds between lighting and thunder, and the storm was getting closer, at one time it was 3 secs then 2 sec, then 4 secs and then everything just got WHITE, as white as i've ever seen...then when i gained visual again i couldn't hear for 5 mins, cos i saw my boss running towards us and oping his mouth but i didn't hear anything....but hey i live, and i'm gladly that the greenhouse took the lightning and not me...

They say you have a better chance of being struck by lightning that winning the lottery.

Like 1-14000 chance of getting struck of something. Seriously, do you think this was made up, because there are car arials and that would have been taller than him? Right? So it just had to hit him. And as you people have said, Why didnt it go to MF or TTD?
