Busch Gardens Tampa Howl-O-Scream event

Is this event worth the price they're asking for? ($36-46 depending on the day). I know there are a bunch of people from the Tampa area on here, have any of you been in the past? My home park is the Williamsburg Busch, and we were thinking of making the trip down to Tampa about two weeks from now. We have platinum passes to all their parks, and would likely be at the park friday afternoon and all day Saturday. How do we get the best value out of this trip as far as ticket pricing goes?
