Coaster Sketches

Ok, I know most have you have gotten bored at one time and drawn a coaster at home or in school... I know I have!

^This was made over a three day span in several classes(History being one.) After scanning it in I noticed it didn't look to good so I brought it to the photoshop[^].

So please post all your coaster related sketches here.

Looks nice, I can't draw too well.

Oh god, like half of each of my notebooks is filled with coaster sketches. I have some cool SROS one's, but I'll have to get my scanner working first.

I don't "sketch" coasters out of boredom...I do 'em in a form of art...
The one posted on Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's page (Below) was done via Scratchboard. I have a number of other coaster drawings as well as other works of art.

And this one...to this day, is not done yet...I seem to like Scratchboard as a drawing medium for coasters...they give amazing results.

I always wanted to use scratchboard for a coaster drawing. It goes really well with that wooden texture you have there. I'm glad you put up those drawings, as it's definately something I'm interested in seeing.

Wow, those look very nice Gumball. I would actualy like to buy one of those. Now only if I could find my sketch of everest that was cool.

Nope...just a college student...I guess I get my talent from my grandma, who did tons of art and sold/made quite a bit of money.

Found another...this was actually my first coaster drawing in college. Technically, I didn't draw it...I dotted it. No lines whatsoever, just tiny hand-killing dots known as Stippling. I'm sure many of your high school art classes have done stippling before.
