I grew up on console gaming (atari, nintendo, ps1, 2, 3, Xbox etc.), so I am practicing my WASD so I can do better at AA3 or any other FPS.

I have joined this group. My Steam name is Ciompdomp. I don't have very many games yet. Just Portal and Portal 2, which were initially my only reason for joining Steam, after hearing about how awesome they are. I'd also been thinking of trying SCP Containment Breach.

That looks really professionally represented with 5 grammar errors in the description alone I have no idea what Steam is...

We should have a "Game Event" soon after the main Halloween season ends. Most likely it will be something to do with Half-Life 2 or another Valve game.

Steam is a platform for buying games which doubles up as a community (with friends lists etc.) so you can invite your friends to play games with you. Every so often they have "steam sales" which basically knock a shedload of money off games, especially semi old games. They also have pack deals where you can buy a ton of games from the same developer at a marked down price.
