Ok, I'm getting a new computer very soon and before I start getting everything for it I thought I would post the specs here to see if you guys had any suggestions.


Specs

Motherboard---Asus 865PE Chipset Motherboard for Intel Socket 478 CPU, Model P4P800 Deluxe

Processor---Intel Pentium 4/ 3.0 GHz 800MHz FSB, 512KB Cache, HT Technology

Hard Drive---2 Western Digital SpecialL Edition 120GB 7200RPM IDE Hard Drive(I will have 2 hard drives)

Memory---Corsair 184 Pin 2GB(512MBx4) DDR PC-3200

Sound Card---Creative Lab Sound Blaster Audigy ES PCI Sound Card

Video Card---XFX GeForce FX 5700 ULTRA Video Card, 128MB DDRII, 128-bit, Dual DVI/VIVO, 8X AGP

Flat Panel--- 17 in SOny LCD


Yes, I will have a dvd+rw,cd+rw,surround sound,cordless keyboard,etc...


Please tell me if you have any suggestions.

Everything looks really good to me on your list. 2 gigs of memory is overkill IMHO, so if your looking to save a little money, you could drop it down to 1 GB. I just upgraded mine to 1 gb from 512 mb and haven't really noticed a difference.

I think im still going to get the 2gb of ram.Its not that much extra.Plus im still way under my spending limit. I could still get a 256mb geforece video card,but im not spending $500 on video card.
