Well I am trying to get a domain for my site, but everytime I sign up it tells me I must pay an extra $15-$20 so I can save my personal info from some site called WHOIS.net. My question is is there any host that dosn't pull this trick on you and yet is still cheap?

Ok well I am signing with 1&1 because thats what a lot of people are saying. Im sticking with the beginning hosting package. Is there any way to make it a 1 year package instead of 6 month one?

They are pretty cheap but they have tons of tech problems. Like I can't use my admin things because the button is broken!

admin thing for hosts is really unnecessary imo, all one needs is access to mail administration and web stats [:)] just my opinion.
