European football Championship

Well, the European football Championship started a few hours ago in Austria and Switzerland. With the match Switzerland - Tsjech Republic which the Tsjechs won by 0-1.
So are you going to watch some football (soccer [8)]) the coming weeks?

simple answer, no i wont be watching any football

Just because england didn't make it I suppose.

the only thing i really hate about us not making is the BBC (television company) just keep advertising to support everyone else and we should dorwn our sorrows by watching everyone else.

Yeah fair enough Gazag, we had the same thing back in 2002 with the world cup.

I probably end up watching a lot, even though Norway isn't qualified (and hasn't been for the last few championsjips. Probably for the best though) After what they showed in the world cup I got big hopes for Germany. I also think Spain may take it. I really hope neither France or Italy wins!

Agreed, and since they are in the group of dead together with Holland I'm hoping we can kick one out in the group fase. It's a difficult group though, with Romania,Italy, France and Holland, it should be interesting to see what comes out of that.

Soccer fans are gay, I want to kill them all. (seeing as all Soccer fans are American, being as Soccer doesn't exist outside of America) Football fans however! yay, go Football!

The main reason you probably find soccer boring is just that, you've probably only ever watched soccer, try watching a football game, like a rainy, cold tuesday night fixture between two teams in one of the lower English leagues, good times.

I shall NOT be watching ANY of the Euros. International Football is usually boring as hell anyway and with England not getting through this time, there really is no reason at all for me to watch what so ever.

Yeah I'd ignore it too if Holland was out. Too bad about England though, they weren't very lucky in with qualifying.

Im watching bits in between revision! It isnt exactly riveting, as England didnt qualify. [:(] I would quite like Spain to go far. They're one of those teams, like England, who never do quite as well as they should when it comes to international football. I'd like to see them do well.

i must say i wasne tgoing to watch any of the footie but i have watched at least one game a night since it started lol, and go the netherlands on there awsome win, there was some cracking football played in that game
