Hersheypark announced its plans for 2008 today at noon (the hottest part of the day of course!) and it's gonna be hot!

Looks to be of the similar idea of Maverick. I think they could have put in at least a few extra minutes in it and change the skin texture from the default.

I'm kinda disappointed by the ride, I though that it would more like maverick, and by that I mean quick transitions and a really original layout. Why a cobra roll and two Corkscrews?? this sucks...

Yeah it'll be a very solid ride but nothing too too special. Definately not that much like Maverick except for the drop and maybe ending...the rest is almost exactly like Speed Monster and the 8/10 loopers combined, as I'm sure you all can see.

what i wanna know i why they always have bad reditions of the ride made with no limits... they oughta get someone from here to make um. Even i could do better....

ouch, The capacity looks pretty low. only 850 per hour. i don't know how the capacity in the rest of hershey park is, but 3 trains with only 3 cars? That's going to deliver huge queuelines...

What do they mean by new "Stadium Seating"?

the cars go up in the back of the car... first row is lower than the second... better views from each seat...

Stadium seating is when in the front of the tain the seats are close togeather and lowered where as in the back there spread out and raised.

there isn't much land where this ride is going, they really did pack in as much as they could i think.

Maverick is gonna pwwwwwwwwn this thing....But, it still looks totally cool anyways, and I wanna try a pretzel loop on a non-flyer! Good that I'l at least get to ride it within 2 years from now.

Hmm the track seems really long for only three cars imo.

Not to me, seems like it's around 30 feet taller than the average woodie, with about the same amount of track. That extra height (and possible initial speed from the lift) should account for the extra loss of speed from what I understand would be increased friction and decreased mass, and let the ride keep speeding until the end. Seemed to work ok and pace realistically in the NL ride.

They should really consider using a different roller coaster sim. Oh and I just noticed that Dorney Park is getting a new roller coaster too. Wow, it must be roller coaster fever month.

it looks pretty cool....but whoever did the NL recreation did a crap ass job....there were pumps everywhere.....7/10 lol.....but anyways look similar to Mav. but not quite the same. is it desined my intamin?
