I'm sure this has been done before but here goes anyway:

What is your favorite wooden roller coaster? Doesn't have to be the biggest or fastest, just which one do you have the most fun on?[:D]

Well I'll be the first to vote. My favorite is The Beast at Paramount's King's Island. Still the longest woody in the world after almost 25 years. And it was one of the first terrain coasters. And there is no better ride at night. And the head chopper effects are intense. And you have no idea what's in store for you before you ride it, since it is almost completely hidden in the forest and in valleys. And it seems to get faster and faster until you get to the second lift. And the helix rocks!! And, well, I just LOVE it!!

I love the Giant Dipper @ Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk cuz it was one of my first woodies I've rode and the only roller coaster I've ridden 11 times in a row.

Texas Giant. Awesome lats, and sweet air over nearly every drop.

Mine would have to be the Thunderbolt at Kennywood Park, Pittsburgh Pa and Hercules at Dorney Park, Allentown Pa. Both very spectacular rides, mainly the Thunder Bolt because it's a Wooden-terrain coaster built mostly on a cliff-side and over, under, around and across the "Great on", the Phantom's Revenge.

Gwazi is my favorite. It so fun even without the both sides dueling.I was lucky to get on one of the only duels of the day when I was there. The rest were not dueled, but I still rocked. [8D]

if we are talking b/f changes mine would have to be texas cyclone but tamed down so much these days (still fun but cant forget the way it was) Now my choice would have to be Texas gaint. But I want to ride the thunderbolt though, looks like it would be a great ride. I thought that it was the longest woodie these days though?

I'm not sure which coaster you're talking about lostst8ofmind, Thunderbolt or Texas Giant (I assume Texas Giant, since Thunderbolt is pretty short). However, here are the lengths for all three according to RCDB.com.

Texas Giant: 4920 feet
Thunderbolt: 2887 feet
The Beast: 7400 feet

As you can see, the Beast is much longer than Texas Giant. Heck, even Son of Beast is over 7000 feet (I believe it is second behind the Beast, or at least it was when it opened).
